About the White Rose GridOutlines the White Rose Grid The White Rose Grid intends to deliver local high performance computing/grid computing facilities and support to the three White Rose partner universities, York Leeds and Sheffield. In brief, the facilities provided consist largely of large clusters of AMD opteron processors, in either dual or quad processor boxs. A subset of these systems are connected by myrinet, allowing for large scale (up to 80 processor) message passing jobs to be submitted. Facilities are spread between the three sites and unified job submission facilities are provided at each site. You are also encouraged to visit the Central White Rose Grid Site Document Actions |
