Details how to get an account

  • These users are automatically entitled to an account.
  • You still have to request the account before it is created via email to support@wrg.york.ac.uk
  • If you are a member of the University of York it is required that you have a Computing Service account.
  • You will be allocated a username on the White Rose Grid system based on this account name.
  • Note that no charge is made for academic use on non-commercial research projects.
  • Email support@wrg.york.ac.uk with:
    • Username (Computing Service)
    • Department
    • Fullname
    • Details of intended usage (project, anticipated usage)
