System load

NB: Ganglia currently inoperative.

System load information is available via the Ganglia system monitor page

This is divided into four main sections - Grid, which is the overall system usage, Nevada,  fimbrata and servers which shows the load state of the network servers and other machines. Clicking on links on the page can take you to more specific information on each host

Unplanned System Downtime

2011/07/15 - Recovery complete.

2011/07/14 - Recovery almost complete. See news section for more details.

2011/07/12 - Recovery continuing. See news section for more details.

2011/07/07 - Further service recovery ongoing. See news section for more details.

2011/07/05 - Selected users available read-only

2011/07/04 - The RAID is still down, awaiting components.

2011/06/28 - The RAID system is still out of action. Further attempts will be made on 2011/6/29 to restore the storage system.

2011/06/27 - The RAID has experienced errors and is now out of action, which means the entire system is currently down.

2011/06/20 - The backup system is currently inoperable for either creation of new backups or retrieval of old backups. This is being examined.
